Time Management

Time management is a necessary attribute of a good leader, because you must be able to fit every thing into your schedule. My leadership role i will be honest is not very time consuming, and there are also two days that they have available for you to attend. so if you cant make Thursday then you can go on Friday. It does however require me to make sure to keep those times open during the week. I write down what day i plan to attend and keep`that day free. In all honesty my leadership role does not require much time management.

  1. Good job on applying to your leadership role even though it doesn't require much time management. Also think about what you are able to teach those kids in the short time you do have though. Try to make your blogs longer giving your thoughts on the lesson and what you learned from it.

  2. My leadership was very similar to yours in that it involved going to mentor a kid once a week at a set time. I had already set aside that time out of my schedule and basically treated it like I had a class scheduled in that time. I did however have to figure out how to manage my time around that and know that I didn't have an extra hour to go back to my dorm and drop off some books and pick others up or to do homework in that time. I have come to realize that even if something does not take a whole lot of time management skills to work on, everything takes some sort of time management.
